Maps & Directions
Although the museum is nestled away in the bottomland forests in a remote corner of the New Orleans metro area, getting to the museum is not difficult. A picture (in this case, two) is easier than detailing the directions in one thousand words. Click on the two links below (Map One, Map Two) to view two GIF files that you can print off for reference in your car, or use the Google or Yahoo map links to locate the museum. These maps assume you can find your way successfully to the Crescent City Connection in central New Orleans. Street signs along Interstate 10 from the east and west will bring you easily to the Connection. If you need additional help, please contact Nelson Rios at nelson@museum.tulane.edu or at the phone number above.
The museum is not open to the public. This information is for visiting scientists and school groups only.
